Rachel Maddow is a political commentator and author who hosts a nightly television show on MSNBC—the lowest rated major cable news network in America.
Maddow has publicly stated that she delivers the news "with agenda, but not hysteria." While the latter is debatable, the former is clear.
Following the Islamic terror attack at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Maddow’s anti-Second Amendment agenda was on full display. Instead of talking about President Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s repeated failure to keep Americans safe, Maddow said, “The NRA insists that people on the terrorist watch lists still be allowed to buy guns.” Her remark is not only untrue, it’s offensive and an undeserved slap in the face to the countless number of NRA members who’ve given their lives to fight radical Islamic terror at home and abroad. The NRA believes that terrorists should not be allowed to purchase or possess firearms. We also believe in constitutional rights like due process.
For Maddow, constitutional freedoms are a “pick-and-choose” type of thing. The pundit has admitted she enjoys going to shooting ranges. She’s even said that she shot an AR-15 on her first date with her partner … and then she added the caveat: “I just don't think we should be allowed to bring them [guns] home." That’s like saying the Founders intended for us to have freedom of speech, but just not at home. While Maddow may not feel an urgent need to defend herself in her neighborhood, millions of Americans live surrounded by the very real possibility of violent crime.
Maddow’s anti-Second Amendment agenda for average, law-abiding people is a dangerous disregard for our God-given rights. Don’t let her define us! Donate to keep our Freedom’s Safest Place commercials on the air and share them using #NRASpeaksForMe.
It All Comes Down To Our Voice Against Their Deceit
